            GOTTA Love This
I am not afraid of tomorrow for I have seen yesterday and I love today.

 Noah's Ark : Everything I need to know, I learned from Noah's Ark .

 ONE: Don't miss the boat.
TWO: Remember that we are all in the same boat!
THREE: Plan ahead. It wasn't raining when Noah built the Ark.
FOUR: Stay fit. When you're 60 years old, someone may ask you to do
 something really big.
FIVE: Don't listen to critics; just get on with the job that needs to be
 done.
SIX: Build your future on high ground.
SEVEN: For safety's sake, travel in pairs.
EIGHT: Speed isn't always an advantage. The snails were on board with the
 cheetahs.
NINE: When you're stressed, float awhile.
TEN: Remember, the Ark was built by amateurs; the Titanic by
 professionals.
ELEVEN: No matter the storm, when you are with God, there's always a
 rainbow waiting.

Please pass this on to people you want to be blessed.
Give it! Don't just get it!

Most people walk in and out of your life,
but FRIENDS leave footprints in your heart

mini Pumpkins?

mini pumpkins?  I found these at michael's and fell in  love with them.  They look like real pumpkins

They are tagged "mini pods.
I am getting all my fall goodies out, so I can celebrate fall.  You have to do what you can in Florida, where there really is no Autum.  I have a Mullberry tree in my yard that looses his leaves, so I at least know what the season is.  It's 81 degrees and the pool is still warm, still in tank tops and flip flops.  Not complaining.....I just miss the colors.  I have many shades of green.

New Creations

Yesterday,  I spent the day with my 'doll friends" Stitchin Sisters.  We meet the 3rd Saturday of the month in downtown New Port Richey, Florida at the Library.  We had a wonderful class with Annie Hesse,  www.AnnieDolls.com.  what a wonderful day.  I can't wait to share the pictures.  My doll isn't quite finished, but I hope to have her completed by the weekend along with my mermaid challenge doll for CDA and my 3 manequins for bella creations.  I have so many projects nearly done.  I can't wait to share all of them.
Configurations Tim Holtz......my new addiction.  This is the beginning of the  box that is part of the doll.

 I love buttercream
It's the day before the big day.  I am so tired.   Food is all cooked, wedding cake is frosted and ready for assembly.  Just finished the topper for the cake.  The bride is out with her girlies and my grandchildren have been soooooo good tonight.  They are all sleeping and I'm off to bed myself. Looking forward to tomorrow.

PUMPKIN PROJECT

Halloween Wreath  26 rosettes

Monday, September 5, 2011

One week from today

One week from today 9/10/11 my beautiful daughter will be  a married woman.  Been waiting for a long time for this day.  It will be a small ceremony at their new home with family present and then the party will be in October for friends and family.  The dress fits after her diligent weight loss program that her brother helped them with.

Simple things make me happy....

I just love simple things.  I'm still applying for a job and trying to remain positive, tho it is sometimes frustrating.  The best part of this unemployment is getting my creativity back.  I have my Martha Stewart scoring board and lots of paper and the help of BigJohn (my boyfriend) scoring away.  I can't stop.... I love these rosettes.  I'm working on a wreath for Halloween and a surprise for someone made with these rosettes.  I finished another teddy bear (pic to follow).  Lots of wonderful projects.
We helped unpack my daughter's stuff at her new house .
It's looking good. Star and Trey are getting married 9/10/11 in their new back yard (or living room, if it rains),so everything has to be put away.  I love decorating and my daughter and son-in-law are letting me play in their house.  Life is good!!

Star trying on her dress for the big day.

Well back to the next project.  Hope your weekend was as wonderful as mine.
