Circle of Bears- Teddy Bear Club

Tonight we had our meeting at Alan's House, what a great job he has done with his collection.  He has hundreds of teddy bears, displayed beautifully.  (I wish I had pics, I will get them).

We meet the 3rd Tuesday of every month, at a different members house.  We are a small group these days, about 13 members, but it is so nice to continue getting together, we've been doing this for more than 20 years.  Lots of show and tell, a lot more telling and chatting these days.  Everybody was excited coz we will be going to the Bright Star Teddy Bear Show on Sunday 2/24 at the Crown Plaza Westshore Hotel in Tampa, FL 10-3.  It's always great to see friends/artists.  

Wish I had been working on bears for the show, but, my blog hopping cuts into my sewing time.  Note to self- get away from the computer a little  lot more.  I will just be visiting and shopping.

Happy Valentines Day After Day

I'm not ready for Valentine's to have come and gone.......Time just flies to fast, tho I am happy it is thw WEEKEND!!!!!!  I love Saturdays, but to many choices for tomorrow.  I really have to finish cleaning out my old house, as I have been advised the sale will be closing soon.  It's been so long coming, that I will believe it when I see it....however I must get the rest of my stuff out.  I am trying to rehome most of my dolls and teddy bears as there isn't much room left in Mistletoe Cottage. I have been moving things around here and getting my room boxes/doll houses freshened up.  Trying to have all rooms easily accessible to light.

I'm really not ready to move on yet, but I better get ready.

I spend lots of time blog hopping, and oooooooooooooo I just get so inspired by the amazing blogs.  I was at   astrollthrulife.net  and enjoyed all the cloches in the Cloche Party.  I was hoping to join, but I missed it.  So I included some of mine here.

Time to decide what to do tomorrow, there's a doll show at the Minnreg Building in Largo, FL,  Doll Club meeting, and the need the pack up the rest of my stuff, what to do????????  I have 12 hours to "sleep on it"

RIP my Teddiegirl.  
Tomorrow would've been her 7th Birthday, but she left us about 3 weeks ago and my heart is still hurting.  I got her at 10 weeks old and she was a joy, but very stubborn.  She loved me and I loved her.  There is no love like the love of your dog.
Ameila misses her too and she keeps looking for her.

Happy February

It's still "my shopping season", you know when you can find wonderful RED things.  Red clothes, and valentines and lovely things.  I love valentines day and all the mushy stuff that goes along with it.
I'm having a tea party/jewelry party on Wed, which should be fun.  Thursday is Valentine's Day and I'll be at Bible Study with the most wonderful ladies.  Friday dinner with friends and then Sat, Santa John and I will go to my favorite place for lunch...Lunch on Limoge in  Dade City, FL..

Today was the start of my new sched at work. 20 hours....yikes......scarey about the money, but cool about the time.  I was out of work at 1:00 and went shopping and the home with no rushing, just relaxing.

Now I must get back to sewing and get away from this computer before I spend more time blog hopping.

Blog Hopping

Oh my..... I have just spent another 2 hours hopping from blog to blog and being amazed.  Beautiful homes, renovations, gardens, cottages, spun cotton dolls, miniatures and I'm at a  loss.  I haven't gotten a thing done, coz I've just been dreaming.  I have no future projects  in my mind, even. I am just content and it feels good.  I am going to get some teddy bears finished and be grateful that all is well in my world.
I want to thank all the amazing bloggers for sharing their stuff.  Hopefully I can just remain at peace.

Sewing Room

Sewing Room.............. I love to look at all the beautiful, organized, neat sewing/craft/studios.  I dream of being organized and neat....but I'm not and I have got my room sort of organized.  Every other room is RED and white with black, so I went with PINK and white with some black and I love the way it looks today....still somewhat neat, not sure how long that will last.
