OMG....It's July already........and there's a Tea Party in my near future

I was gonna start posting again.....way back in November and just never did.  I'm not even sure why, but I'm here and just relaxed and enjoying other blogs.  Getting excited about the weekend and blog hopping and teddy bear shopping....without even leaving the comfort of Mistletoe Cottage.  Life is good.

Been enjoying the summer so far.  Got my Red, White and Blue going on, and a little Christmas in July too.

I'm getting ready for the week end.  I just love a great tea party.

I'm late, I'm late,for a very important date

I have had so much tea today and can't wait to have some more.  I started at Vanessa's Mad Tea Party this morning.  Then so many things to do, I couldn't wait to get home to visit so many more wonderful Tea Parties.  Gotta go visit more tea parties.  Oh is so wonderful to MAD (in a good way)

Where have I been?????

OMG!  Where does the time go???? I have been blog hopping and loving all these amazing blogs and totally neglecting mine. 
I have been working on teddy bears and fairy gardens and playing in my tiny backyard.  My sun flowers are growing like crazy.  From seeds, I grew Giant Sun Flowers, the first one is over 9' tall and she's almost ready to have her seeds harvested.  I'm so excited, did you know that one sun flower has 1,000-2,000 seeds?  I did not know that, but I'm learning so much about them.   I'll be drying the seeds for 2 weeks after the black lines appear, they are still all white now.  Then, replant the seeds in the beautiful Florida Sun.  My other plants are doing so well and my little yard is full of butterflies.  No luck so far with hummingbirds.....but I'm not giving up yet.  I know they will come, some day.

Hey There...

It has been so long since I've had a moment to write.  Time goes so fast, it gets away from me.  I had a great time this weekend, went to IDEX in Orlando and it was awesome.  I got to spend time with friends I hadn't seen in so long, we went to Silk Green house and saw a "fairy garden demo". I have already completed one and have sooooo many ideas in my over stuffed head.
Just sitting and counting my blessings.  (I was having a pitty party about loosing things, since that has been the theme for me this year.)  But more important...... the people in my life. I have a wonderful family and lots of friends and when you loose one of them that really is sad.  Yesterday my aunt Essie passed away, she was a lovely person, she collected clocks and was so beautiful, she will be missed by so many.  Today I got news of another friends' illness and I can't wait to see her.  I know how blessed I am, because I have wonderful people in my life, and I am thankful for that. Just feeling a bit sad.

I am so blessed to have Santa John to keep me going.   And my family.
