I just wanted to share my Red tea cup and saucer ( a gift from a friend)
Small plate dish. L'Opera 3001 - 347. Red. Size 4 3/4" (12cm.) wide and 7/8" (2.2cm.) tall. Signed on the back.
Out of production. Made in Denmark at Nymolle Studio. In 1976 Bjorn Wiinblad took over the Nymolle Studio and factory.
What a friend--to give you cups and saucers accented with red!
ReplyDeleteA LOVER OF SCARLET
A lover of scarlet just may,
When given the floor, have her say
About the bright shade
That lights up the glade
Like fire on a hot summer’s day!

ReplyDeleteThis is very sweet and a pattern I am not at all familiar with. I have been collecting vintage red transferware for some years and do so adore it!
