OMG....It's July already........and there's a Tea Party in my near future

I was gonna start posting again.....way back in November and just never did.  I'm not even sure why, but I'm here and just relaxed and enjoying other blogs.  Getting excited about the weekend and blog hopping and teddy bear shopping....without even leaving the comfort of Mistletoe Cottage.  Life is good.

Been enjoying the summer so far.  Got my Red, White and Blue going on, and a little Christmas in July too.

I'm getting ready for the week end.  I just love a great tea party.

Just finished dipping strawberries in chocolate, heart-shaped brownies are cooling and I'm ready for my Valentine's Day tea party.  Having a few friends over to share V-day with.

I have been working on my teddy bears for the on line show and have been having a wonderful time.

Cherry Shortbread cookies for our pink tea.

1cup butter
3 cups flour
1 cup sugar
3 tbs. cherry juice
1tbs vanilla
1/2 cup cherries chopped up....Mix all of these with a mixer till fluffy and with a small cookie scoop , drop on cookie sheet and bake  for 20 mins @ 350 .

Had a little tea party of our own tonight.

Tea Party

 Tonight we  (Circle of Bears) had our annual Tea Party at Sue's house.  Always an elegant evening.  She served delicious pumpkin chi tea along with cinnamon scones, ham with pineapple finger sandwiches, a marvelous pumpkin cake and some other delicious treats. I sat at the Leonx  table.  Set with a beautiful crochet table cloth that she purchased for $2.00.  What a deal!!!!!

The food was great, the company was great and I "sold" all my crackers to donate the money   for the Breast Cancer 3 day walk.  It was a lovely get-together.

I love her silver service.  The Pumpkin Chi Tea was sooooo good.

     Another lovely day.  How blessed I am.
