Had so much fun at Andrea's Open House - STAMPIN UP! Made 4 make and take its, and received lovely gifts.  Thanks to my friend Joanne, I had a great time!!!

Finished my Fairy Godmother Teddy Bear and made a witches hat for another teddy.

Now to get ready for a Birthday Party on the beach.

It has been a long week.  Got lots done, but still no job.  It's a hurry up and wait game.  I send out resumes and wait for call backs and it is like eternity.  (I could use some prayers at this point)  Not loosing hope,  just frustrated.  I am so blessed to have a wonderful family and friends to keep me going.
I have been working on teddy bears, and have been finishing at least one a day, that's pretty good, I think.  Have my mermaid for the CDA challenge almost done (due Sept 1).  And my new obsession Tim Holtz configuration boxes.  I have a small one done that will be part of a doll that I will be doing in a class in September, so no pics yet and the bigger one is going to be for Christmas.....my mini Santas and tree collection.  Well that makes me want to do a Halloween theme box and maybe one for my shell collection (or just a tiny part of it-have lots of shells in bowls and jars  and glasses....I just love shells)

Lots of stuff planned for the weekend.... 2 birthday parties, lots of friends to visit and still working on teddy bears.

OMG.... it is still raining

Good morning world!!!  It is still raining, 3 days in a  row.  I have been soooo productive, finished 2 more teddy bears, a few flowers and sent out many job applications and emailed my resume.  Well, one of the jobs I really want....I have an interview for........keep me in your prayers.  I have enjoyed my unemployment but I am sooooo ready to get back into the real world.  I do LOVE my little world "loriland", everyone there loves me. But I can still visit there when I get back to the real world.  I am blessed and ready.  Hope you all are having a wonderful day.

Rainy day here........

Happy Friday,  I had planned on being on that raft this lovely day , but the weather man had a different thought

Well the rain continued, so I moved on to the next project in my mind.  Miss Amelia needs a new bed so that's what I'm working on now.  Cleaned and painted, now onto the bedding department.

still learning.....

I had a "blog lesson" from Joanne  @ Cardology.  http://cardologyetc.blogspot.com/What a great friend!   I'm still trying to get this all right so I can play with my blog friends.  I spend so much time enjoying other blogs, that I feel I gotta figure this out.  It's good to keep learning.  I think I know how to link stuff now, so I can join in.  I will try that tomorrow......

After we get back from the beach.  John and I have been trying to get to the beach at least once a week, in between looking for a job and learning how to blog and spending time with Teddie and Amelia.
