rednesday

I just love Rednesday! Thanks to Sue at It's A Very Cherry World!

Eye CANDY....yum

Some days (well more than some) I just spend to much time looking and drooling over other blogs and now that darn Pinterest.  I have a million ideas in my head, but instead of creating, I'm dreaming....I know that's where it all begins, so I better get my self off the computer and create.

I am thinking PINK.  My table is covered in pink and projects in the works.  Hopefully soon I can post pics of the completed bears and dolls

I spent Saturday with my wonderful "Stitching Sisters"  My doll club with some of the most talented ladies I have ever known.  My darling friend Kat  of designsbykatleespatterns.blogspot.com
has shared her pattern Gwyneth the Steampunk Elf with us and I have been working on her.  The body is all done and theis was a new technique for me, working with a big wire armature.  Working on the head tonight.....if I get away from this computer.  OK...I'm going.

Good night and pleasant dreams!!!

My craft room

Miniature table I built in 1981 with my prize posession, Jo Parker chine in 1" dollhouse scale
Chine Hutch in 1" dollhouse scale.  These are the serving pieces  to go with the china .  Another set of white miniature china is on the 3rd shelf down.

note to self:

I just love u tube.....It's amazing what you can find there.  Love it!!

RED VELVET CAKE POPS/BALLS

It all started with a red velvet cake.  Then when it's baked you add a half container of frosting and mix to the consistency of playdough.

At this point it really tastes good too.   Take a ice cream/meet ball scoop and make balls.  Freeze x 1 hour and then dip in melted chocolate. YUM.

Happy New Year!!!!!W

Happy New Year!

This has been such a wonderful begining of a new year. And today is just peaceful and           lovely. It' s overcast and the sun is trying to peek out , but I'm inside cozy and comfortable.
Quietly enjoying all my favorite blogs.  I love viewing blogs. I just love blogland although I     don't get much accomplished, but the "eye candy" is delightful. My head is full of valentine    ideas.  My favorite time of the year, when everything is pink and red. Although I live in      that   land all year long, it's nice to be able to collect  more pink and red goodies.
I think I will go put some Christmas stuff away and decorate for V day.
I'm also working on teddy bears with a "tea party theme" for an upcoming show, that I       hope to participate in.  I also am excited about the doll class with Arley Berryhill, coming    up in February. The candelstick diva.  Big decision tho........what color scheme????????   It seems like RED is the obvious color, but I'm not sure.  I saw the most delicious fabric in     Joanns last night, and talked myself out of it, but while I'm sitting here, I think that may      have been a mistake.  Oooooooo I am glad they are open on Sunday,  I think that's where   we'll be after church tomorrow.
Well, I am off...(my rocker) no.... off to do a little Valentine decorating and cook up some
Sheppards Pie.
Have a great day and I'll be back later.
loving blogland
